Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a VP of Business Development for Veterinary to own major multi-location deals across the U.S. and Canada.

This is an individual contributor role with a substantial $2M annual quota, focused on strategic, multi-location veterinary accounts where one win opens further opportunities. You will lead the full cycle from discovery to close, collaborating with owners and regional operators, while expanding services across locations.

Qualifications

• A proven track record closing $1M+ yearly on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers is ideal.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers are common for this role.
• Candidate prioritizes closing business over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 month cycles).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to additional locations and services once a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to tailor proposals for high-value deals.
