Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Vice President, U.S. Compliance to lead and continually enhance the enterprise compliance program for U.S. operations. You will identify regulatory risks, monitor developments, and implement mitigation strategies while aligning with global compliance functions.

You will collaborate with internal teams and regulators, train staff on policies, and drive governance across departments to protect the organization and ensure lawful practices.

Qualifications

• Regulatory knowledge across insurance and financial services sectors.
• Strong knowledge of compliance best practices, internal control frameworks, and risk management principles.
• Analytical skills to review data, identify trends, and interpret regulatory implications.

Responsibilities

• Policy Development, Implementation & Training: Lead drafting and maintenance of Policies & Procedures with a focus on Legal & Compliance; collaborate on HR, IT and other policies; build scalable governance documents; partner on role-based training.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay current on state and federal laws, interpret regulatory changes, update policies and controls accordingly.
• Risk Assessment: Work with ERM to evaluate compliance risks, assess exposure, and aid mitigation planning.
• Monitoring, Assessments & Testing: Monitor adherence to governance docs; conduct reviews and remediation actions; document findings with leadership.
• Regulatory Agency Collaboration: Point of contact for regulators; coordinate inquiries, audits, and examinations; maintain professional relationships.
• Internal Reporting & Data Insights: Produce regular and ad hoc compliance reports; analyze data into actionable insights; develop dashboards.
• Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with Legal, ERM, HR, Internal Audit, Finance, IT; run cross-functional meetings; travel as needed.
