Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for North American Insurance to serve as a key legal advisor across wholesale brokerage, MGA/MGU, and program administration operations. The role partners with Compliance and Regulatory teams to address regulatory and contractual risks.

You will review and negotiate critical commercial agreements, advise executives on business initiatives, and help drive growth with practical, risk-based guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Five to eight years of legal experience, with significant experience supporting insurance distribution businesses.
• Enthusiasm for AI and technology-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and business support.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice regarding wholesale brokerage, MGA, MGU and program administration arrangements and related insurance operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad portfolio of commercial agreements.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and clause libraries to accelerate timelines.
