Synchrony is seeking a VP, Treasury – Payment Systems Product Owner to lead one or more Agile teams building core payments capabilities in the Payment Hub. The role blends strategic roadmap influence with hands-on product management to deliver scalable, secure, compliant, customer-centric payment solutions.

The position offers flexible work options—from home, near a hub, or in an office—with occasional in-person engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of PM/Agile experience in financial services, fintech, or commercial banking
• 5+ years of product management, systems analyst or Agile development experience in financial services, fintech, or commercial banking
• Exceptional communication, systems thinking, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Responsabilités

• Contribute to product vision and roadmap for the Payment Hub using data, operational insights, and regulatory needs.
• Own the product space from discovery through delivery, including backlog management and release readiness.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and provide clear product context, decision-making support, and timely issue resolution.
• Identify, elevate, and resolve risks, blockers, and gaps in requirements or delivery readiness.
• Support testing activities by reviewing QA scripts, leading UAT, securing documentation, and coordinating stakeholder sign-off.
• Oversee release activities to ensure deployments are planned and aligned to business priorities.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate product success and cross-team effectiveness.
