Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a VP, Treasury – Payment Systems Product Owner to maximize value across Agile teams building core payments capabilities within Synchrony’s Payment Hub. The role requires strong product instincts, payments knowledge, and the ability to shape roadmap decisions while partnering enterprise-wide for secure, compliant, customer-centric payment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; 8+ years product management or agile development in financial services/fintech/banking.
• Strong knowledge of payments, regulatory needs, and risk controls.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex backlogs.

Responsibilities

• Own product space from discovery to delivery including requirements and release readiness.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and provide product context and decisions.
• Write and prioritize user stories with compliance and operations in mind.
• Identify risks and blockers and drive resolution.
• Oversee releases and post-production validation.
