Job summary

LandGate, a Wood Mackenzie business, seeks an experienced VP, Head of Transmission Products to lead the development of our transmission product suite, including ATC and Offtake, and to provide technical leadership supporting Sales efforts.

You will oversee a Director-led team plus offshore contractors, guiding Fusion AI integration with diverse datasets and coordinating with client success, sales, and engineering to set priorities for product development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of high voltage electrical system experience with a utility, system operator, or independent power producer.
• Minimum 2 years managing the transmission interconnection process for power plants (wind, solar, or thermal).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred); PE license preferred.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and architect transmission product development across multiple teams.
• Translate power flow and interconnection workflows into scalable product capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales, client success, and engineering to set development priorities.
• Provide expert guidance on injection and offtake capacity and interconnection processes.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to company strategy and market positioning.
