Invenergy Transmission is seeking a Director to lead the development of new transmission projects toward execution. You will guide diverse teams and external partners across engineering, grid planning, and regulatory workstreams to advance complex projects.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in transmission or energy development, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or other relevant field.
10+ years of experience in transmission or energy project development, construction, or engineering.
Experience managing large projects and/or teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, schedules, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Identify and advance new transmission opportunities across regions and models.
Develop strategies moving opportunities from identification to proposal development.
Lead teams across engineering, grid planning, financial analysis, environmental review, routing, permitting, and regulatory workstreams.
Prepare complex transmission proposals, development plans, and business cases for leadership.
Mentor and develop a team of direct reports and external partners.
