Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a VP of Logistic Operations to direct all operational and strategic activities for assigned sites. The role partners with site leaders, customers, and internal teams to optimize efficiency and profitability while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will drive long-range plans, identify value-added services, and lead change management across sites. The position emphasizes Lean Six Sigma, strong financial oversight, and advanced relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred; 10+ years’ supply chain management expertise required.
• Experience with ISO, FDA, DEA, FTZ or EPA regulations preferred for some sites.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training.
• Strong customer relationship skills; ability to balance and manage customers’ expectations while aligning with corporate goals.
• Understanding of supply chain strategies, inclusive of dedicated transportation.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and grow revenues through expanded scope and margins via operational efficiencies with existing customers.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts through listening and understanding of customer environment and market differentiation.
• Present complete proposals and value-add customer-specific solutions that are scalable and aligned with best-in-class concepts.
• Lead implementation of company programs and site change management efforts.
• Review KPI results and data to up-sell additional solutions and drive operational improvements.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Coach and develop personnel in Kenco operations and leadership.
• Establish measurements impacting safety, quality and financial performance.
