Job summary

Aclima, Inc. is seeking an independent contractor to lead business development and drive commercial priorities for its advanced air-quality solutions in the San Francisco area.

You will own opportunities from qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and handoff to delivery, with occasional board briefings on performance and strategy. The role is hands-on with no direct reports, focusing on closing engagements and scalable expansion.

Qualifications

• Lead business development and close complex B2B or institutional sales.
• Experience selling emerging products in startup environments.
• Build relationships with customers, industry leaders, and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Own select strategic accounts from qualification to signed agreement and delivery handoff.
• Define opportunity needs, sponsor, budget owner, decision process, and path to close.
• Develop proposals, scopes, pricing, and terms with cross-functional input.
• Maintain a disciplined CRM pipeline with clear updates on progress and risks.
• Lead customer conversations, coordinate contributors, and push for next steps.
