Job summary

Arch seeks an Operations Lead / Chief of Staff to drive initiatives across operations, business development, sales, customer success, marketing, and fundraising. This in-person role emphasizes ownership and collaboration with founders in a climate tech context.

You will be based in San Francisco, required 3–4 days per week in the office, and will help shape the company’s future through strategic execution and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in early-stage startups and strategy consulting, product management, or finance.
• Ability to execute across all business areas and guide product development with engineering/design.
• Proven track record of finding and engaging potential customers; willing to travel 1–2 times monthly.
• Comfort navigating uncertainty and rapidly developing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: work with the CEO to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Cross-functional Operations: lead initiatives across operations, biz dev, sales, customer success, and marketing.
• Ownership & Problem-Solving: take ownership of challenges and drive solutions.
• Customer Engagement: gather feedback from customers to shape product direction.
• Talent Acquisition & Team Building: source, hire, and onboard high-performing talent.
