Job summary

REI is seeking a Divisional Vice President of Store Operations to shape how REI stores function today and in the future. You will translate enterprise strategy into clear priorities, routines, and measurable plans in partnership with Stores, Finance, and Technology leaders.

You will lead the Store Operations team to deliver strong results, safe work, an engaging employee experience, and a differentiated customer experience across the co-op.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in multi-unit retail or distributed environment.
• Experience translating strategy into measurable store priorities and outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of store operations, workforce planning and financial governance.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and operating model for store operations and labor practices.
• Translate enterprise goals into actionable plans with clear measures and accountability.
• Simplify operations to improve customer, employee, safety, and financial outcomes.
• Lead annual and long-range planning, budgets and investment recommendations.
• Guide large-scale change including technology adoption and new operating practices.
• Build and lead a high-performing Store Operations team with data-driven decisions.
