Job summary

REI Co-op is seeking a Divisional Vice President of Store Operations to shape how REI stores work today and prepare for what comes next. You will translate enterprise and Stores strategy into clear priorities, simple operating practices, and measurable plans.

You will lead the Store Operations team, align with cross-functional leaders, and drive strong results, safety, engaged teams, and a differentiated customer experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experiência in multi-unit retail or similar complex environment.
• Experience translating strategy into clear priorities, routines and measurable outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of store operations, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Strong business and financial judgment with budgets and investments.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and lead through change.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and operating model for store operations, including routines, labor payroll practices, tools and service standards.
• Turn enterprise goals into focused plans, measures, and execution rhythms for store teams.
• Simplify store work to improve operational, financial, customer, employee, safety, and productivity outcomes.
• Lead annual and long-range planning, budgets, resource choices, and investments with Stores and Finance.
• Guide large-scale change including technology, digital tools, automation, and new practices with adoption plans.
• Build an inclusive, high-performing Store Operations team using data and partnerships.
