Job summary

SunEnergy1 is seeking a VP of Business Development for its Solar EPC division in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on identifying and securing new opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving growth for the solar EPC business.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in solar BD, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale solar projects. This role is on-site in Charlotte with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
10+ years in BD, sales, or PM in solar industry.
Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, EPC processes, and market dynamics.
Proven track record securing large-scale solar projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
CRM and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the solar EPC sector.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve growth targets and expand market share.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential customers.
Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new projects and partnerships.
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
