myhousr/Housr is the student-first housing platform helping undergrads find great places to live and giving universities new ways to support off-campus life. We launched out of Lincoln, NE, and we’re growing fast across the US. Everything we do starts with making the student experience smoother, simpler, and more affordable.

The Role:

We’re hiring a VPSales (US) to lead expansion into new university/college markets within the US. You’ll set the sales strategy, build the team, and own the revenue, turning campus partnerships into long-term revenue. There’s flexibility to work remotely from Mid-US or East Coast locations while laying the groundwork for a future city hub.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and launch go-to-market plans for substantial college expansion within your first 6 months.
  • Build clear messaging to show housing, procurement, and student-life teams why myhousr matters for their students today.
  • Create a repeatable lead-generation and qualification engine, tracking pipeline health, win rates, and cycle time.
  • Negotiate terms and close multi-year contracts that make sense for both sides.
  • Report weekly on performance, risks, and next steps, adjusting the playbook based on data points.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Marketing, Product, and Ops to ensure continuity from first pitch to renewal.

  • Experience taking a zero-to-one sales organization through rapid growth, laying the foundation of a GTM strategy.
  • Someone not afraid of getting “into the weeds” again to help build something with unlimited growth potential.
  • An individual with a rolodex of campus decision-makers who will answer your call.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a thoughtful negotiator who maintains strong relationships under pressure.
  • Comfort living in the numbers and tweaking tactics driven by data.
  • Startup mindset: you like clear goals, fast turns, and honest feedback.
