    The Sales Senior Vice President leads, manages, and coaches Sales VPs, Sales Directors, and Account Executives to target the right segment of prospects, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals and manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value. This position reports directly to the Workplace Business Unit President.

    Diversified’s Workplace Sales Team is responsible for delivering business value from a variety of workplace collaboration, digital broadcast and media, solutions and services into Corporate Enterprise and Higher Education clients across the US and targeted global locations.

    What will you be doing?
    • Lead, inspire, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales organization to maximize potential and professional growth as well as ability to function effectively as a team
    • Drive transformation of the salesforce from one that sells technology to one that sells solutions and value to clients
    • Define enterprise program strategy to include account qualification and vertical synergies, managing the account goals and alignment to sales targets; Partner with Sales Enablement to define and manage enterprise account methodology
    • Leverage solution selling, relationship management, account executive engagement, partner/alliance alignment and vertical solution evolution to evolve organization to deliver on predictable, profitable growth
    • Drive revenue through existing client growth and new client acquisition, meeting or exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics
    • Advocate for clients by quickly resolving escalations, representing the voice of the client and influencing internal stakeholders at all levels as needed to deliver client value and outcomes
    • Partner closely with BU leadership team to set and execute on go-to-market plans.
    • Accelerate sales execution to deliver a predictable, healthy, and compliant business through sales leadership and the ability to define account level activity to achieve sales targets
    • Build a culture of accountability and urgency by transparently leveraging metrics and reporting to drive the right behaviors for the business unit
    • Partner with PeopleTeam to build sales compensation, including commission structure to align with expected business results
    • Cultivate an environment aligned to Diversified’s Values of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement
    • To achieve scale and enhance the integrated Americas team, coach and demonstrate skills in collaboration, problem solving, communication, attitude, process, organization and consistency
    • Develop forecasts and strategies to achieve sales goals and profitability targets and lead team to successful execution
    • Build excellent working relationships with all key business leaders, across Sales, Operations, Services, and the broader team
    • Listen carefully to prospects and clients to provide market feedback to the Business Unit teams and help prioritize functionality needed to drive sales opportunities
    • Represent Diversified at events, both in country and where applicable in the industry including but not limited to presentations, panel discussions, training and delivery, and ancillary events
    • Creatively identify and help drive new programs to improve the sales organization
    • Develop a deep understanding of our product messaging, technology platform, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape
    • Remain up to date on technological changes within the industry and identify areas of opportunity.
    • Travel to project sites as required to ensure quality and build customer relations.
    What do we require from you?

    Education-Experience:
    • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution – Business, Marketing or similar discipline preferred
    • Minimum 10 years of previous sales and/or strategic account management experience
    • Minimum 15 years experience in sales operations and sales leadership, managing and leading team members
    Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and coaching ability; can successfully coach others in sales practices
    • Ability to utilize data analytics to course correct quickly when there are coverage gaps.
    • Strong understanding of the compensation plans and the mechanics of the supporting variable plans.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to collaborate and influence in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work cross functionally to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders and ability to lead major change efforts requiring cross-functional leadership collaboration
    • Strong executive presence and communication skills
