Tuckernuck is seeking a strategic yet hands-on Vice President of Retail Stores in New York to lead the strategy, development, and execution of the company’s growing physical store footprint.

This role oversees market strategy, site selection, leases, openings, fleet planning and ongoing operations, partnering with Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Technology, Operations, and HR to deliver an exceptional customer experience across the fleet.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of progressive retail leadership experience overseeing multi-unit retail operations and/or retail development.
• Experience leading store openings, renovations, relocations, and large-scale retail projects.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, business cases, capital plans, and ROI analyses.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute Tuckernuck’s long-term retail store strategy and physical footprint.
• Develop a multi-year retail fleet plan with market prioritization, store count, timing, and investments.
• Identify and evaluate new markets and opportunities for expansion based on customer demographics and market potential.
• Partner with Finance to develop business cases, investment models, and ROI expectations for new stores.
• Monitor performance of the existing fleet and guide growth, optimization, relocation, expansion, or closure.
• Lead end-to-end store development from site evaluation to grand opening.
• Establish scalable operating infrastructure and strong relationships with landlords, brokers, developers, and construction partners.
• Provide strategic leadership of retail operations and ensure consistent, exceptional customer experiences.
