Partner with Finance to develop business cases, investment models, and ROI expectations for new stores.

Monitor the performance of the existing fleet and make recommendations regarding growth, optimization, relocation, expansion, or closure.

Serve as the executive owner of Tuckernuck’s physical retail strategy and ensure alignment with the broader company growth plan.

Lead the end-to-end development of new stores, from initial site evaluation through grand opening.

Partner with the Co-Founder, Chief Creative Officer, Finance, Operations, and external partners on site selection, lease negotiations, architectural planning, permitting, construction, fixtures, technology, and store readiness.

Establish clear project plans, budgets, timelines, milestones, and accountability for each store development.

Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure stores open on time, on budget, and in accordance with Tuckernuck’s brand standards.

Develop a repeatable and scalable store opening process as Tuckernuck expands its fleet.

Oversee post-opening assessments and identify opportunities to continuously improve the store development process.

Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, brokers, contractors, architects, and other real estate and construction partners.

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of retail operations across the Tuckernuck store fleet.

Establish consistent operating standards and processes while preserving the unique customer experience and culture of each location.

Partner with the retail leadership team to drive sales, profitability, customer experience, labor productivity, and operational excellence.

Develop and monitor key retail KPIs and use data to identify opportunities and address performance gaps.

Ensure stores are appropriately staffed, equipped, and supported to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Partner with HR and Retail leadership on organizational structure, talent strategy, leadership development, and succession planning as the fleet grows.

Establish scalable operating infrastructure that can support continued store expansion.

Customer Experience & Brand

Ensure the physical retail experience consistently reflects and elevates the Tuckernuck brand.

Partner with Design, Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative to translate the brand into compelling physical environments.

Identify opportunities to create differentiated experiences that drive customer engagement, loyalty, and traffic.

Stay current on evolving retail concepts, customer behaviors, technology, and best practices to ensure Tuckernuck remains innovative and relevant.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

Serve as a strategic partner to the Co-Founder and executive leadership team on all matters related to physical retail stores.

Build strong partnerships across Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Finance, Technology, Operations, and HR.
