Job summary

Lifeworks in Norwood, MA seeks a visionary Vice President of Residential Services to lead and expand our residential programs. This senior role directs five Residential Directors, ensures compliance, and aligns services with Individual Support Plans while upholding rights and funding requirements.

The VP will drive program growth, manage budgets, supervise staff, and collaborate with the Senior Lifeworks Leadership Team to deliver high-quality, person-centered supports across all programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related Human Services experience.
• Experience in a Senior Leadership position, in a residential setting/operation.
• Valid MA Driver's License CPR, First Aid and Medical Administration (MAP).
• Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day administration and supervisory detail in connection with the management of all residential services.
• Formulate residential program goals and objectives, policies, procedures, budgets, staffing needs, travel and in-service training with Residential Directors.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Prepare program budget and contracts under supervision of the Chief Operating Officer; Review program expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Ensures accurate and timely recording and submission of staff payroll information.
• Monitors the documentation of all significant incidents involving individuals in assigned programs.
• Ensures data collection for program outcome measurement systems and individual satisfaction measures.
• Ensures compliance with applicable DDS, CARF, town, state and federal licensing authorities.
• Expand current programs and develop new programs to meet the needs of individuals and their families.
• Participates as a member of the Senior Lifeworks Leadership Team to enhance communication and delivery of services across programs.
