Job summary

sasi seeks a Vice President of Residential Services to lead a large network of residential programs at the Elma site, ensuring high-quality, person-centered supports. You will guide senior managers, oversee budgets, staffing, and regulatory compliance, and report on performance to drive growth and stability.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, partnership development, and ensuring services meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Social or Human Services, Special Education, or closely related field plus eight (8) years full-time experience in rehabilitation or OPWDD programs; including three (3) years in a senior leadership role such as a director or vice president.

Responsibilities

• Foster a team culture of belonging and inclusivity across all projects.
• Maintain integrity and transparency in decision-making and accountability.
• Encourage ongoing personal and professional development through ownership of learning journeys.
• Lead a high-performing team of managers and oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling, performance, discipline, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to grow and stabilize residential services with person-centered supports.
• Work with the CFO to prepare budgets, monitor utilization, vacancy trends, and financial performance for sustainability.
• Regularly monitor and report data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with community partners and market SASI supports to various stakeholders.
• Ensure quality of supports and customer satisfaction across residential programs.
• Assist in grant proposals, reports, and contingency planning.
• Keep management informed of agency policies, regulations, and philosophy across the department.
• Represent the Agency on committees and ensure program activities comply with laws.
• Collaborate with IT to leverage technology in service delivery and operations.
• Stay current on field trends to ensure standards alignment.
