Job summary

GRAIL, based in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a strategic HR leader to head the People Partner function and Employee Relations. The role partners with the CPO and C-suite to design and execute enterprise people strategies, governance, and talent programs across the organization.

You will guide organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning, driving a high‑performance culture and enterprise transformation. Flexible on-site presence is required at Sunnyvale headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field; Master’s or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive HR experience, including 10+ years in senior executive HR leadership roles.
• Expertise in talent management, organizational effectiveness and transformation, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations.
• Proven track record coaching senior executives, leading organizational change, and building high‑performing HR teams.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People Partner Function, building a high‑performing team and shaping accountability, collaboration, and client service.
• Set vision and operating model for the PBP organization to ensure strategic partnership across the business.
• Partner with executive leaders on organizational design and change management to strengthen leadership capability.
• Provide strategic counsel on workforce planning, talent risks, and organizational health.
• Oversee enterprise talent processes, ensuring data‑driven and aligned practices with business strategy.
• Serve as HR Site Leader for Sunnyvale HQ and shape enterprise HR policies in collaboration with COEs.
