Job summary

Caring for Others seeks a visionary VP of Human Resources and Talent who will own people strategy end-to-end—org design, HR systems, and processes—across multiple states and entities. You will report to the CEO, partner with the CFO, and hold a seat at the executive table while staying hands-on in the work.

This architecture-driven role focuses on building scalable structures, governing HR operations, and driving a culture of performance and compliance as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Multi-state HR leadership experience in fast-growing organizations.
• Expert in compliance, payroll, benefits, and total rewards.
• Strategic partner to CEOs, ownership, and boards; hands-on when needed.
• Builder of scalable HR infrastructure with data-driven KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Shape workforce strategy, org design, and enterprise growth initiatives.
• Own HR's seat at the leadership table; translate business to people strategy.
• Build and lead a high-performing HR leadership team across states/entities.
• Set enterprise-wide HR operating model; govern scalable processes.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and compliance at scale.
• Own total rewards, HRIS/ATS, and benefits platforms for scalability.
• Drive talent, culture, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Leverage data analytics to inform executive decisions; provide insights.
• Lead HR due diligence for market expansions and acquisitions.
• Standardize HR practices and embed accountability across the enterprise.
