Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• 15+ years of legal experience with deep employment law and litigation.
• 2+ years in a senior leadership or management role.
• Experience managing outside counsel and legal spend.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead employment law strategy and advise senior leaders on complex matters.
• Partner with Chief People Officer and People leadership translating legal issues into business advice.
• Oversee employment litigation strategy, proceedings, and pre-litigation disputes.
• Guide employee relations investigations and policy enhancements.
• Build scalable employment policies, agreements, training, and playbooks.
