Moody’s seeks a VP of People Messaging in New York to shape and steward the Employee Value Proposition, guiding principles, and People programs into a single, compelling story across all people-facing channels.

In this leadership role, you will develop the internal communications architecture, drive multi-channel content strategy, and partner with senior stakeholders to ensure messages land with clarity and impact across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in corporate communications or employer branding in enterprise settings.
• Experience in financial services or regulated data environments preferred.
• Proven ability to translate complex people data into simple narratives.
• Excellent written and verbal storytelling for executives and employees.
• Ability to influence decisions in complex, matrixed orgs.

Responsibilities

• Define Employer Guiding Principles and EVP to reflect business insights.
• Lead communications strategy across enterprise channels and own a calendar.
• Translate People programs into cohesive narratives for employees.
• Write and edit flagship People content; set tone of voice and editorial standards.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders to keep work moving and resolve roadblocks.
• Equip managers with toolkits, talking points, and cascade plans.
