Job summary

ApolloMD is seeking a Vice President of Operations in Morrisville, NC to oversee regional performance across multiple hospital partners. You will work with clinicians to ensure resources and workflow alignment, and lead recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, scheduling, and payroll for clinician teams.

The role requires a master’s degree with 5+ years in healthcare operations leadership, plus strong client management, financial oversight, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with healthcare operations leadership experience.
• Minimum 5+ years leading hospital or physician practice operations.
• Proven ability in client management, financial oversight, and large-scale execution.
• Experience leading teams across multiple levels and strong communication skills.
• Ability to drive performance across regional markets and service lines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional performance and strengthen client relationships across service lines.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure resources and workflows meet partner expectations.
• Coordinate recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, scheduling, and payroll for clinicians.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Lead and motivate a team of directors, recruiters, and credentialers.
• Communicate with hospital decision makers on metrics and performance.
