Job summary

The Bancorp Bank is seeking a VP of Technology Strategy & Operations to act as a strategic partner and execution leader for the Technology organization. You will translate the CTO's vision into actionable priorities, strengthen governance and decision-making, and drive follow-through on initiatives across platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, engineering, data, and enterprise technology operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years in technology, financial services, enterprise operations, strategy execution, program management, or related leadership roles.
• Strong ability to support senior executives and drive accountability across technology teams without direct authority.
• Knowledge of technology operating models, portfolio management, governance, risk and control practices, vendor oversight, and financial management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; ability to translate complex tech topics for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define annual and multi-year priorities with Technology leadership; translate objectives into initiatives and milestones.
• Organize leadership meetings, governance forums, and decision logs; manage action items and follow-ups.
• Prepare executive communications and materials for board updates and risk forums.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Product, Data, Cybersecurity, and business teams.
• Track major programs, modernization efforts, transformation initiatives, platform investments, risks, budgets and timelines.
• Support budget planning, forecasting, vendor spend, contract milestones, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Monitor audit findings, regulatory commitments, and readiness for governance and examinations.
• Provide leadership support to teams by coordinating priorities and decisions without direct reporting authority.
• Influence leaders to align resources and maintain execution discipline across initiatives.
• Set expectations and accountability for workstreams with HR policies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field
