Job summary

First State Bank and Trust seeks a highly experienced Vice President of Information Technology to own the Bank's technology environment and oversee external partners. This role requires deep technical knowledge and the ability to lead major initiatives across nine locations, reporting to the President and CEO.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressively responsible information technology experience with ownership of systems/projects.
• Experience managing or working with a managed service provider or external technical partner.
• Experience owning technology projects from planning through completion with internal and external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, virtualization, endpoints, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Practical understanding of cybersecurity controls, incident response, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technology operations across all locations and oversee MSP performance.
• Lead technology projects from planning to implementation, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Coordinate technology risk management, audits, and vendor due diligence.
• Develop and maintain technology policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support continuity plans, incident response, and regulatory examinations.
• Prepare technology reporting for senior management and the Board.
