Opensity Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Technical Engineering to lead the technical engine of the business. Reporting to the EVP, this senior role owns scoping, delivery, security, and supportability of live environments across engineering delivery, infrastructure, and security domains.

The VP participates in build decisions, challenges architects, and ensures the plan aligns with client outcomes and margins.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, including 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Delivery portfolio ownership in a professional services or managed services environment with accountability for technical outcomes and margin.
• Proven pre-sales capability: scoping complex engagements, writing SOWs, and presenting solutions to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery accountability for the engineering portfolio — schedule, quality, margin, and client outcomes.
• Set and enforce engineering standards: design docs, test and cutover plans, change control, and handover packages.
• Partner with PMO for project health reviews and enable recovery plans for at-risk engagements.
• Lead pre-sales and solution architecture efforts, including scoping, estimates, and reference architectures.
• Direct the security and datacenter functions to align with business goals and risk management.
