Job summary

Opensity Solutions seeks a Vice President of Technical Engineering to lead the technical engine of the business. This hands-on executive role spans engineering delivery, pre-sales solution architecture, infrastructure and security operations, and datacenter strategy.

The VP ensures end-to-end delivery, enforces design standards, and aligns delivery with sales and client outcomes while guiding security and datacenter initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or technical consulting.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Delivery portfolio ownership in professional services or managed services.
• Hands-on background in enterprise network and infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery accountability for the engineering portfolio.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards and design documentation.
• Partner with the PMO on project health reviews and concrete recovery plans.
• Define and oversee security and datacenter strategy.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to key accounts and pre-sales engagements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, security, and datacenter operations.
