Job summary

Pocket is hiring a senior leader to own the subscription business across hardware and apps. You will set monetization strategy, define metrics, and run a relentless experimentation program to grow revenue and retention.

You’ll partner with engineering, design, and marketing to ship pricing changes, experiments and features that move the business forward. You will lead a team as Pocket scales, handle Paywall flows from onboarding to renewal, and collaborate with founders on revenue targets and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in consumer subscription, growth or monetization, including 3+ years owning subscription revenue or a subscription P&L.
• Experience growing subscription revenue at scale in consumer apps with quantified results on conversion, ARPU, retention and churn.
• Deep expertise in pricing and packaging: monthly vs annual, plan tiers, trials, credits and paid feature launches.
• Strong experimentation skills: test design, sample sizing, reading results and knowing when a result is real.

Responsibilities

• Own Pocket's subscription P&L and revenue targets.
• Lead monetization: pricing, packaging, plans, credits and paid features.
• Drive retention, onboarding, churn reduction and win-back flows.
• Oversee lifecycle communications and experiments across channels.
• Ship subscription improvements with engineering and design.
