Job summary

The Dart Network is seeking a strategic leader for Safety & Risk, responsible for steering the company’s safety culture, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management across its fleet operations in Minnesota. You will own DOT, FMCSA, OSHA compliance, CSA performance, and loss control initiatives while guiding claims oversight, investigations, and contractor safety programs.

Qualifications

• Requires 10–15+ years in transportation/trucking safety, regulatory compliance, or risk management with leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise safety and risk programs and DOT audits.
• Strong ability to translate safety data into executive reporting and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety culture and drive continuous improvement across fleet operations.
• Lead safety, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management strategy.
• Ensure DOT, FMCSA, CSA, OSHA, and state compliance across the organization.
• Improve CSA performance and reduce accident frequency/severity.
• Oversee claims, loss control, litigation support, and contractor safety programs.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning.
• Develop and maintain safety policies, programs, and systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance records and maintain relevant documentation.
• Provide executive reporting, analytics, and strategic recommendations.
