Job summary

Mesa seeks a Director of Loss Prevention, Safety & Fleet to lead company-wide safety, compliance, fleet operations, and risk management. You will set strategic direction, build programs, and partner with Operations, HR, and leadership to protect people, assets, and operations.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA regulations, and the ability to translate data into preventive actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in safety, loss prevention, risk management, fleet management, transportation, warehousing, or moving operations.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA and applicable regulations; ability to translate regulatory requirements into programs.
• Proven track record in incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, fleet, and regulatory compliance programs across locations, ensuring adherence to all regulations.
• Develop, communicate, and continually improve safety policies, procedures, and training.
• Oversee driver qualifications, hours of service, vehicle safety, testing, and FMCSR compliance.
• Manage safety training for drivers, warehouse staff, and operations teams; conduct audits and inspections.
