Job summary

Quest Talent Solutions, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Preconstruction to lead the strategy for a national portfolio of complex data center projects from Atlanta. The role requires senior leadership in preconstruction, deep knowledge of budgeting, GMP development, and strong client relationships at the executive level.

You will oversee estimating, procurement, scheduling, and constructability while guiding staffing plans and commercial strategy with the executive team.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in preconstruction, estimating, or construction planning.
• Strong data center, mission-critical, or complex construction background.
• Experience leading large teams and developing future leaders.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial negotiation experience.
• Deep knowledge of estimating, procurement, constructability, value engineering, and scheduling.
• Comfortable working directly with executive leadership and major clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, constructability, and GMP development.
• Oversee major pursuits, contract negotiations, and commercial strategy.
• Own preconstruction financial performance, forecasting, and staffing plans.
• Build and develop teams across estimating, procurement, and scheduling.
• Partner with executive leadership on growth strategy and market expansion.
• Maintain executive-level client and partner relationships.
• Establish standards, KPIs, and processes to improve estimating accuracy, win rates, and project handoff.
