Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a VP of Preconstruction to lead and scale its national preconstruction organization across North America. This executive role oversees estimating, budgeting, cost controls, and program planning with a strong emphasis on building high-performing teams.

The candidate will drive strategic direction, establish nationwide preconstruction metrics, and partner with development, design, construction, and senior leadership to deliver on complex data center programs.

Qualifications

15+ years in construction/preconstruction leadership.
Experience leading national preconstruction teams.
Deep expertise in estimating, budgeting, cost controls.
Proven ability to build high-performing teams.
Experience in data center/mission-critical environments.
Executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead the North American preconstruction organization.
Set strategy for estimating, budgeting, cost controls, and project planning.
Build, lead, and develop preconstruction teams.
Establish consistent cost metrics, processes, and best practices.
Partner with development, design, construction, and executive leadership.
Provide senior oversight of project budgets, estimates, schedules, and commercial strategy.
Drive consistency and accountability across preconstruction nationwide.
