Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a VP of Platform & Production Engineering to lead the platform and production capabilities that enable the firm’s AI agents and products to reach production securely, reliably, and at scale.

This leader will own the platform layer, including the vendor integration platform, agent runtime and environments, shared platform services, AI‑native software development lifecycle and CI/CD, quality engineering, online evaluation, DevOps, observability, release mechanics, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus (from the description)
15+ years of platform, infrastructure, or production engineering leadership
Deep CI/CD, DevOps/SRE, observability, and release‑engineering at scale
Experience with AI/LLM platforms or leading platform teams serving AI products
Led distributed US–India engineering or partner‑built platform capability in‑house

Responsibilities

Build and operate the platform layer, including CI/CD pipelines and AI‑native software lifecycle.
Own the path to production for AI solutions, including approvals, security reviews, and handoffs.
Establish and maintain integration standards for third‑party AI solutions and APIs.
Develop and operate CI/CD with evaluation, quality and security controls.
Lead online evaluation, ground truth, and release quality for AI products.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture to enable scalable production handoff standards.
Build and lead the Platform & Production Engineering team across locations.
Align platform architecture, production requirements, and security standards with senior leaders.
