Versa Networks in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a VP of People to lead and scale the global HR function as the company grows toward an IPO. You will own the people strategy, build the HR infrastructure, design career frameworks, and expand the HR team to support scale across regions.

You will oversee HRIS implementation, ADP Workforce Now optimization, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance across jurisdictions, partnering with finance and legal to drive pre-IPO readiness

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4–5 years in a VP or equivalent senior HR leadership role.
• Experience building and scaling an HR function at a high-growth technology company—ideally through an IPO or comparable inflection point.
• Deep expertise across total rewards, compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and HRIS.
• Proven track record of leading, developing, and growing an HR team.
• Strong command of U.S. employment law across multiple states; working familiarity with international HR compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferred: SHRM-SCP, SPHR; experience with ADP Workforce Now; experience designing job leveling frameworks and working with PEO/EOR for international locations.

Aufgaben

• Develop multi-year people strategy aligned to Versa’s growth trajectory, culture, and pre-IPO readiness.
• Lead organizational design and workforce planning as the company scales toward and beyond IPO.
• Partner with Finance on headcount planning, people-related costs, and board-level people metrics and reporting.
• Directly manage the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition & People Operations, providing strategic direction and support.
• Evaluate HR capacity and gaps to level up the HR and People org; set a people-team culture that is employee-first.
• Lead evaluation/implementation of an company-wide HRIS; ensure payroll in the U.S. via ADP Workforce Now and scale for global.
• Establish scalable HR policies, SOPs, and governance across jurisdictions; oversee onboarding/offboarding globally.
• Design and implement job architecture and leveling; own compensation benchmarking and total rewards strategy.
• Oversee benefits strategy, including equity administration; model compensation with Finance.
• Drive performance management, manager development, and internal mobility programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law; manage employee relations and readiness for public company HR obligations.
