Job summary

Versa Networks is hiring an HR Manager to join our growing People & Talent team. This role is a hands-on generalist for someone who thrives on variety and takes ownership of the employee experience in a fast-moving global tech environment.

You will serve as a key day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers, supporting compliance, policy updates, and process improvements while tackling employee relations, data accuracy, and culture initiatives across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
• Strong employee relations instincts—listen, de-escalate, and find the right path forward
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adapt style from one-on-one to policy memo
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform
• 4–7 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in tech, startup, or high-growth
• Solid working knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR questions, policies, and workplace matters
• Handle employee relations issues with discretion, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach
• Support PTO, leaves of absence, and other lifecycle processes with accuracy and compliance
• Maintain HR data with high accuracy and confidentiality
• Champion Versa’s culture and values across a distributed global workforce
• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across U.S. locations
• Partner with People and legal teams on employment compliance matters as needed
• Develop performance management frameworks, goal-setting, feedback cycles, and manager coaching
• Build career development pathways and learning programs to support retention and mobility
• Own day-to-day administration in ADP Workforce Now and future HRIS rollout
