Job summary

Versa Networks in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Director of Human Resources to build our people programs from the ground up and partner with executive leadership to shape a scalable HR framework. The role encompasses HR operations, total rewards, compliance, and employee experience across multiple locations, with a compensation range of $240,000–$280,000 and flexible remote/hybrid work options.

Qualifications

8+ years HR experience with 2–3 years in a senior leadership role.
Experience building HR programs from scratch in high-growth tech environments.
Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law; working familiarity with international compliance.
Strong generalist background spanning talent management, total rewards, compliance, and ER.

Responsibilities

HR Infrastructure & Operations: Lead HRIS implementation and globally scale HR workflows.
Talent & People Development: Design onboarding and manager coaching programs.
Total Rewards & Compensation: Oversee benchmarking, benefits, and equity management.
Compliance & Employee Relations: Ensure multi-jurisdiction compliance and policy governance.
Culture & Employee Experience: Champion Versa's culture and global engagement initiatives.
