Volo Sports is seeking an experienced VP of Human Resources to lead and evolve our HR function during a pivotal growth phase. Reporting to the President, you will shape people strategy, capabilities, and infrastructure for nationwide expansion while managing a decentralized, field-heavy workforce.

Based in New York City with DC options and frequent NYC-DC travel, you will inherit an HR team, drive scalable programs, and partner with finance, legal, and operations to align people initiatives with

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HR leadership roles.
• Experience supporting large hourly workforce.
• Proven track record building scalable HR functions.
• Experience advising C-suite executives.
• Experience with HR technology and AI to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Advise the President and senior leaders on organizational design, compensation, and workforce planning.
• Assess and continue building the HR organization, systems, processes, and operating model at scale.
• Establish clear priorities, accountability, and service expectations across HR.
• Lead talent acquisition and leadership development for a large, dispersed workforce.
• Champion Volo's culture and evolve it as the organization grows.
• Build compliance into scalable processes across multi-state operations.
