Job summary

Divisions Maintenance Group in Cincinnati seeks a VP of Operations to lead the business operations team, overseeing 16 direct/indirect reports and driving performance for a ~$1B revenue organization.

You will own the work order lifecycle, service quality, and continuous improvement across all service lines, coordinating with a nationwide network of service providers and ensuring speed, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Facilities Management, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
• 12+ years of progressive operational leadership experience within facility management, marketplace operations, 3PL, or tech-enabled service delivery.
• Demonstrated track record of driving core operational metrics: lifecycle reduction, schedule adherence/arrival rates, and defect reduction.
• Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Root-Cause Analysis with cross-functional workflow auditing.
• Data-driven leader with strong metric tracking and test-and-learn mindset.
• Executive presence with exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
• Able to recruit, empower, and develop top-tier teams and maintain high employee engagement.
• Excited by a scalable platform in facilities maintenance and comfortable in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution and service quality across all service lines.
• Drive provider assignment and on-time performance across trades.
• Implement quality controls and real-time monitoring to reduce defects.
• Establish fast-reaction protocols and root-cause frameworks for issue resolution.
• Set performance standards and hold leaders accountable for results.
• Lead and scale a high-performing operations team.
• Standardize best practices across teams, markets, and trades.
• Exercise strict financial oversight on proposals, billing, and projects to protect margins.
• Partner with provider management to enforce metrics and tracking.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Product/Engineering, and GTM for alignment.
