Santa Rita Landscaping is seeking a seasoned leader to serve as Vice President of Operations in Phoenix, guiding growth and operational excellence. You will oversee multiple teams, drive a strong P&L, quality standards, and customer satisfaction while building leaders and a culture of urgency and accountability across the business.

This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, HR, and executive leadership, and a hands-on approach to optimize processes

Qualifications

• 5 years of Green Industry experience with significant operational leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading multiple teams, branches, or profit centers.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance field execution with strategic and financial leadership.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
• Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold operational leaders and teams accountable for results
• Own operational performance, including revenue, gross margin, overhead, forecasting, and KPIs
• Drive customer satisfaction, retention, quality, and service excellence
• Develop leaders and build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement
• Ensure teams consistently follow company processes, SOPs, and safety standards
• Allocate people, equipment, and resources to support operational and growth objectives
• Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions
• Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to achieve company goals
