Job summary

CIRCOR in Tampa, FL seeks a seasoned Plant Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing, assembly, production and inventory activities. You will optimize costs, implement Lean practices, and drive safety and quality across the facility.

You will manage budgets, staffing, training, and supplier relations, fostering a continuous improvement culture and coaching a diverse team to meet ambitious production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, operations, or related field.
• 7+ years in a key leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with budgeting/expense management and basic accounting practices.
• Experience in a global company and managing relationships with US-based HQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation including manufacturing, assembly, production and inventory control.
• Monitor expenses and seek cost-reduction opportunities while preserving quality.
• Review production schedules to meet inventory targets with high efficiency.
• Coordinate hiring and training of operations personnel.
• Remove constraints and allocate resources to achieve goals.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture and 6S program.
• Develop and execute plant budgets and analyze workforce needs.
• Conduct performance reviews and coach operations staff.
• Improve waste reduction and productivity in production processes.
• Collaborate with R&D and product management on new strategies.
• Improve supplier relationships with purchasing.
• Ensure safety policies and TRIR improvements.
