Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a results-driven Sourcing Project Manager to lead supplier transitions, cost-savings projects, and cross-functional implementations across its valves sites in Tampa and Warren.

The role requires strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills to optimize sourcing strategies and drive measurable results while supporting acquisition integration within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; MBA or certifications (PMP/APICS) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transition of parts and components from existing suppliers to new, qualified suppliers.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless transitions with minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop and manage project timelines, risk mitigation plans, and communication strategies for all transition projects.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to improve overall cost performance.
• Continuously monitor and benchmark market trends, and implement strategies to reduce costs.
• Review and analyze commodity spend data across business units to identify trends and savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with Commodity Management and Strategic Sourcing teams to prioritize savings projects.
• Build business cases and track financial impact of savings initiatives.
• Partner with manufacturing and distribution sites to implement sourcing projects, including onboarding and inventory adjustments.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to drive alignment and successful implementation.
• Support RFQ activities for follow-on production and new product introduction.
• Monitor performance post-implementation to ensure expected outcomes.
