Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for the Sustainable Technologies facility in Riverview, FL.

You will lead the manufacturing operations to meet financial, quality, safety, and delivery objectives through effective planning and performance management. Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, coaching staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and EHS standards while collaborating across engineering, quality, and plant leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing production with supervisory/leadership experience.
• Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma experience; process improvement and quality control.
• Strong verbal and written communication for managing employees, suppliers, customers.
• Root cause analysis to solve technical malfunctions and supply chain disruptions.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and cGMP compliance in specialized fields.
• Production machinery knowledge; inventory software (SAP, NetSuite); MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a high-performance, union-free workplace through clear expectations and support.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Plant Leadership to improve efficiency, reduce costs, plan capacity, and align with plant strategy.
• Ensure compliance with policies, cGMP and EHS requirements across production.
• Drive Continuous Improvement using COS, Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, SMED, 6S, and OEE to boost productivity and quality.
• Develop, coach, and mentor direct reports; manage performance and succession planning.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets; lead cost-control initiatives across production and site.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices and support department growth.
