Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a strategic VP of IT to define and deliver a scalable IT strategy for our life & health insurance operations. You will lead a globally distributed team, drive platform modernization, and ensure regulatory and cyber compliance while maximizing client value.

The role is fully remote with occasional travel to our Springfield, MA office, demanding strong leadership, governance, and collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT or related field.
• 10+ years in IT leadership, preferably in insurance.
• Experience with US/India distributed delivery or GCC/shared services.
• Proven platform conversions and modernization projects.
• Strong knowledge of .NET, SQL, cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Understanding of AI/ML in insurance.
• Excellent leadership and executive communication skills.
• Strong program management and multi‑project planning.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end technology strategy and roadmap for the insurance administration platform.
• Provide executive oversight of development using .NET, SQL, and integrated solutions.
• Lead platform modernization and complex transition programs across locations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, security, and operational resilience.
• Engage with executive client stakeholders and guide delivery teams.
