Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a strategic Vice President of Information Technology to lead our IT function remotely, with occasional travel to Springfield, MA. You will define a modern platform strategy, oversee multi-region teams, and ensure regulatory alignment while partnering with clients to drive value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Experience operating across US and India teams, distributed delivery, offshore transition, GCC operating models.
• Proven experience in platform conversions and platform modernization.
• Strong knowledge of .NET, SQL, on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in the insurance sector.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of leading teams and driving initiatives.
• Excellent program management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Executive-level critical thinking and strong written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive platform modernization strategy aligning with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end technology strategy and roadmap for the insurance administration platform.
• Oversee executive-level interactions with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure platform stability, regulatory compliance, scalability, and performance.
• Guide production support, incident/change management, and risk mitigation.
• Manage distributed teams across locations including US and India.
• Drive regulatory updates and compliance activities across platforms.
• Develop leadership pipeline and a high-performance, compliant culture.
