Job summary

Philips seeks a Visionary Head of IT for Connected Care in the United States to own IT strategy, delivery, and operations for real-time clinical data and connected devices. This VP-level role reports to the CIO with a dotted line to the BU CEO and drives AI/ data, cybersecurity, and regulatory governance across the BU.

You will lead a BU AI team, align enterprise platforms with clinical innovation, and oversee subscription-based business model design and service delivery in a global health-tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record as a senior IT leader in health tech, medical devices, or digital health.
• Strong experience with ERP transformations and subscription/recurring revenue models.
• Deep understanding of clinical IT interoperability, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with cloud-to-edge architectures, real-time data systems, and IoT/connected devices.

Responsibilities

• Own the BU IT strategy and align it with commercial and clinical innovation plans.
• Govern the BU IT portfolio across Run and Improve with on-time delivery and budget discipline.
• Build and lead BU AI & Data initiatives, a data estate, and an interlock with enterprise AI.
• Ensure cybersecurity, interoperability and regulatory compliance for connected care systems.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing IT team focused on product management, AI operations, and platform engineering.
