Job summary

Prime Residential, based in San Francisco, seeks a VP of Information Technology to own the technology environment and drive data and AI usage across the business. You will lead IT operations for 56 communities, manage the budget and vendor stack, and champion a data-driven enterprise with AI at scale.

You will own the technology roadmap, cybersecurity, platform integrations, and a PropTech stack spanning leasing, maintenance, and resident communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology leadership roles within multi-site environments
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred
• Proven track record building and scaling enterprise IT platforms
• Experience owning IT budgets, vendor contracts, and cost optimization
• Hands-on governance of data, analytics, and AI initiatives
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud migration/optimization

Responsibilities

• Own cloud-first technology strategy, architecture, and governance aligned to business goals
• Build and retain a high-caliber IT team and prevent single points of failure
• Manage IT budget, forecasting, licensing, and cost accounting for delivered value
• Lead end-to-end IT projects from intake to benefits realization
• Own Fabric data environment and reporting layers with a single source of truth
• Drive AI adoption with governance and an AI policy; chair AI governance committee
• Oversee Microsoft cloud ecosystem, infrastructure, and SaaS platforms
• Own property management platform and PropTech stack integrations
• Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and portfolio rationalization
• Steer technology workstreams for acquisitions, integrations, and migrations
• Ensure cybersecurity, identity, compliance, privacy, and disaster recovery
