Job summary

Prime Residential seeks a Vice President of Information Technology to own the entire technology environment, lead data and AI initiatives, and drive modernization across 21,000 apartments in the Western US. The role reports to the CFO and oversees technology strategy, budget, vendor management, and key platforms including property management and SaaS tools.

You will build and scale the IT organization, establish governance, and champion AI adoption with guardrails.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology leadership roles, with multi-site responsibility.
• Experience in finance-driven corporate environments; multifamily is a plus.
• Proven track record building and scaling IT platforms and teams.
• Hands-on policy, governance, and standards for data and security.
• Experience applying data and AI in business operations with guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud-first technology strategy, governance, and roadmap.
• Build and retain an IT organization with succession planning.
• Own IT budgets, forecasting, and licensing optimization.
• Manage end-to-end IT projects from demand to benefits realization.
• Oversee the Fabric data environment and reporting layers.
• Lead AI integration and establish cross-functional AI governance.
• Provide executive oversight for cloud ecosystem and SaaS platforms.
• Own property management tech stack and integrations.
• Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and portfolio rationalization.
• Drive IT workstreams for acquisitions and migrations.
• Own cybersecurity, compliance, and business continuity.
