Baco Properties in San Francisco seeks a Director of Technology to own the full tech and data stack, push AI and data strategy, and modernize systems across 53 locations and 39,500 units.

You will lead strategy and hands-on work, with a modern stack already in production, including Cloudflare Workers, React and Python apps, a Fabric data warehouse, and a pricing algorithm.

This is a leadership role in a growing firm that values builders and measurable ROI from technology investments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior technical role owning infrastructure and data analytics.
• Experience with revenue management, dynamic pricing, or demand forecasting.
• Hands-on with property management platforms (Yardi or Sitelink).
• Proven track record automating processes and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop occupancy-driven, automated pricing across all locations.
• Build dashboards with revenue, occupancy, leads and delinquency.
• Develop predictive models to forecast vacates and enable proactive lease-up.
• Lead attribution and ROI measurement for paid media with marketing.
• Own GA4 and Conversions API and ensure data quality.
• Oversee full tech stack, integrations, and cloud migration for remote operations.
• Drive cybersecurity baseline and incident response practices.
• Deploy AI tools to reduce manual workloads and automate workflows.
• Launch digital tenant experiences like online leases and a tenant portal.
