Job summary

Pine Street Inn is seeking a mission-driven technology executive to serve as Vice President of Information Technology Services in Boston. The VP will own the IT operating budget, department structure, staffing, vendor relationships, security, and service delivery for ~13 IT professionals across a multi-site nonprofit environment.

The role drives the ITS 3-year strategic plan, ensures technology reliably supports shelter, housing, outreach, and administrative operations, and leads AI strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
• Advanced degree and/or professional IT certifications preferred.
• Ability to travel between Pine Street Inn program sites in the Boston area.
• Experience leading an IT function in a multi-site nonprofit environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT department (~13 staff) and define structure, roles, and career paths to meet organizational needs.
• Own reliability, security, and performance of all technology across program sites.
• Manage annual IT budget, forecast spend, and vendor relationships.
• Own cybersecurity program, HIPAA awareness, and data governance.
• Drive the 3-year ITS strategic plan and multi-year IT roadmap.
• Champions AI strategy and responsible-use adoption across programs, fundraising, and operations.
